Course Description
This course provides HAZWOPER Supervisor training in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4) for individuals responsible for overseeing hazardous waste operations and emergency response activities.
Participants will review key responsibilities related to hazard recognition, implementation and enforcement of the Health and Safety Plan (HASP), PPE and exposure control oversight, emergency response coordination, and supervisor decision-making in changing field conditions. The course also addresses common compliance gaps and real-world challenges supervisors face in industrial environments.
This training includes scenario-based learning and applied activities focused on evaluating employee performance, identifying unsafe conditions, and making defensible decisions in the field. Emphasis is placed on supervisor accountability, documentation, and the management of the required 3-day supervised field experience.
